RealTracks Artist Bio: Vince Ditrich
Vince Ditrich has been the drummer/percussionist with legendary Canadian band Spirit of the West for over 25 years. This however, came after an already distinguished career, which he began as a youngster performing with his father's band in Lethbridge, Alberta. He was still a very young man when he had his first major opportunity, to tour with Long John Baldry. This set him on a rising path, and he soon found himself performing and recording with the likes of Sue Medley, Doug & the Slugs, Great Big Sea, Oscar Lopez, James Keelaghan, Mae Moore, and many others. Vince has also taken over the role of manager for Spirit of the West. In 2001 he recorded a solo album called Supertonic.
