RealTracks Artist Bio: Steve Herrman

Trumpet player, Steve Herrman, supported many prominent artists of the Blues Rock genre as a sideman. His musical work includes freelancing, playing showcases, one-nighters, society gigs and studio work.

Herrman grew up in Hamilton, Ohio, and his musical career started to take off with a Mexican Cumbia band in Dallas with legendary jazz drummer Duffy Jackson. He also played in a salsa band (1985). Not long after he received a call to fill in for Delbert McClinton’s tour in Japan and he continued to play with McClinton for the next seven years.
