Good to see a new face here.
I like your song, well written and performed.
Whistling during the intro was a nice touch, and very tasteful playing on the lead.
Never seen anyone post a bandcamp link here before, don't know much about that site actually. Do you make money whenever anyone streams your song?

Hi gman.
I echo Dave Cuny's words.
I like the simple lyric for this love song.
I think some of the gaps (not all) in the verses should be closed to emphasise the meaning of the line,
i.e. "Someone other than (delete gap here) the man I am today".
The chorus needs to be a little tighter and more dynamic. BIAB can also help there with its pushes and holds.
All in all a good start for you. Just needs a little work.
