I've had this problem before, and someone here came up with a solution, which I've been using. But ... the suggested settings in Audacity of MME and What You Hear are no longer working since: - Windows 10 did and update on me - I updated Audacity to 3.4.2 - I installed BIAB 2024 (1111)
My desktop setup includes such a dizzying array of options, that I can't seem to find one that works. I know I have a SoundBlaster Z card installed and I assume a generic one from MS. Can anyone suggest a starting point? Help! Thanks! LLOYD S (I tried to attach a jpg file showing the options. Not sure it worked)

Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.
