OP colly Apprentice C Joined: Aug 2016 Posts: 297 uk scotland	Hi just finished downloading and installing ultra pak. Does anybody know how to check that all is complete. How many files or something, just wanted to check.

I've seen cases where PG Music Support provided checksum info for individual files. I don't know about the UltraPak but you could ask. As the program is always changing with updates, I think it's unlikely any of us users will know that answer. BIAB 2024 Win Audiophile. REALTRACKS (Sets 1 - 253) http://www.pgmusic.com/realtracks.all.php?os=win REALDRUMS (Sets 1 - 29) http://www.pgmusic.com/realdrums.php?os=win It's possible to view specific Realtracks sets in the Stylepicker for Band in a Box. I'm not sure if there is an easy way to view all Realdrums. The "What Add-ons Do I have?" that Matt mentions is probably the easiest way. Regards, Noel MY SONGS... Kallum - PG Music Enthusiast K Joined: Feb 2014 Posts: 41	Hi Colly, There are a few ways to verify a complete installation, I'll list the steps I use to verify our packages before we ship them out. First open Band-in-a-Box, click on the bottom half of the style button and open the stylepicker (browse all styles). The first time you do this you'll be prompted to rebuild the stylepicker. Once the list has rebuilt you can look to the bottom left of the list of styles where it will display the number of styles found. A full UltraPlusPAK should list 4903 styles. Then you can click on the RealTracks icon on the toolbar and open the RealTracks picker dialog. At the bottom of that list is a Rebuild and Fix button, clicking that will rebuild the list of tracks and alert you to any issues. Then you can click on the Show All button, which will erase any filters and show a complete list of your tracks. Beneath the Show All button is a number of items in list, a complete UltraPlusPAK should show 2124 items. You can also open the RealDrums picker dialog and rebuild the list of drums. There isn't a number display in that window but if a rebuild doesn't give any errors then you aren't missing any tracks. Finally as mentioned before you can go to Help \| What add-ons do I have? for a summary of all your Band-in-a-Box components. This window is a bit text-heavy but the bottom half lists any missing components. An UltraPlusPAK should only be missing MIDI Soloists Sets 12-15, the other boxes should be empty. Occasionally there's an issue with how the sets are labeled so this window has incorrectly listed files as being missing in the past, hence my preference for checking all the components separately. You could also check the size of the BB folder on your computer (usually in C:\bb) to see if anything is missing, it should be around 107 GB if you have all the latest add-ons. This size can change sometimes and isn't the best metric to judge if content is missing so it's best used as a guideline if you're just not sure that you ran all the installers.

I am slowly but surely moving from using one computer exclusively to using a different computer the majority of the time. I decided to download all the files stored in my PG Music account and install from the downloaded files. It's always nice to have a way to verify the install. In my case, I overlooked rebuilding and verifying RealDrums. His latest video, Convert MIDI Chords into AI Vocal Harmonies with ACE Studio and Band-in-a-Box, he explains in detail how you can use the Melodist feature in Band-in-a-Box with ACE Studio. Follow along as he goes from "nothing" to "something" with his Band-in-a-Box MIDI Melodist track, using ACE Studio to turn it into a vocal track (or tracks, you'll see) by adding lyrics for those notes that will trigger some amazing AI vocals!
