Been having this issue a bit lately (or maybe it;s juts the styles I am choosing?) Anyway,in this case style is _MISTYNYC which in the style picker has a guitar track and a different drum kit to the default style that appears when BIAB loads.
It seems it cannot get away from loading this default setup of a bass piano and the same drum kit.
So is my BIAB developing some sort of bug or are there bugs in the styles?

Hmmmm... I don't have a style with the name '_MISTYNYC'.
I had an understanding that Style names were only up to 8 characters in length. Can you re-check? Is this a 3rd party style perhaps?

Trev Its _MISTNYC. Drop the "Y". Mine loads OK although I cant say I'm a Fan of how the Style sounds. Maybe a Jazz Person can load it and say if it actually times right as, to me, it sounds a bit disjointed. Bests ian

Hi Ian, thanks for clarifying the name. I loaded the song demo. For some reason, the first think it did was remove the guitar (together with a message). I listened to it without and then with the guitar. The style seems a little disjointed. My impression was that it didn't really know what it was supposed to do. (Apologies to the author )

However, going back to the O/P's original question, yes, for me it loaded a different Bass than what was described. The expected and actual are shown below.
I think it's a bug.

Thanks,
haha, no apology needed. I may very well have come to the same conclusion...I haven't even tried the style with the song I was thinking of for it, as it would not load correctly.
