I began my musical career as a young child taking piano lessons at the age of 9. When I turned 14, I got my first of many guitars and dove headlong into learning how to play it. I am self-taught on guitar. As a young man, I played in a number of bands and started writing my own songs. Finding the money to demo the songs was hard.

Several of the bands I played in were very good and it was a lot of fun. While in a stint with a house band, I started to really dig into writing songs on a more serious note. As that band was in the process of dissolving, I started putting together the gear needed to begin home recording, eventually building a custom computer based DAW. The big stumbling block was the fact that recording instruments that you did not own, play, or knew anyone close by who did, was a big problem. Learning VSTi’s proved difficult and the results were often less than spectacular.

During this time, I discovered Band-in-a-Box by PG Music. Suddenly, I was able to produce the professional sounding tracks I had needed in my songs. It seemed like my song writing took a huge step forward with the introduction of Band-in-a-Box to my musical toolbox.

With so many styles and so many Real Tracks available in Band-in-a-Box and RealBand, it’s now extremely easy to produce radio ready song productions in my little home studio. In fact, many of the songs I have written and recorded using Band-in-a-Box have been signed into some of the best music libraries for film and TV as well as signed by music publishers world wide. None of this would have been possible with out PG Music’s superb program Band-in-a-Box and RealBand. I now have a band of the best musicians at my fingertips. It just doesn’t get much better than this for a songwriter such as myself who needs a good band to record the music I write.
