RealTracks Artist Bio: Dai Lin Hsieh

Dailin Hsieh stands out as one of the most accomplished zheng performers within her generation. Renowned for her exceptional musical prowess as a soloist and chamber musician, she has graced stages both in her native Taiwan and on the international circuit.

Throughout her musical journey, Dailin has garnered prestigious awards, including a nomination for Best Album in the Traditional Music Category at the 22nd Golden Records in Taiwan for "Treasures of Zheng: An Album of Zheng Music." She holds the title of Laureate in The National Concert Hall’s Traditional Music Star in the Zheng Soloist Category. Additionally, she clinched Second Prize and the Best Performance of the Designated Work at the 2007 Zheng Competition of the Taipei Chinese Orchestra.

In 2014, Dailin released her solo CD Zheng Image. A versatile musician, she is an integral part of the Orchid Ensemble, Naadaleela Ensemble, and the BC Chinese Ensemble.

Dailin remains dedicated to advancing her musical career in zheng performance and is committed to inspiring the next generation of musicians through her teaching endeavors.
