RealTracks Artist Bio: Rene Worst

Born in New Guinea and immigrating to Canada in 1960, Acoustic and fretless bass prodigy - Rene Worst - has long established himself as one of North America's most profoundly influential jazz voices.

A graduate of UBC School of Music and Douglas College, Rene was an integral part of the popular fusion band Skywalk, Brazilian band Novo Tempo, and the jazz ensemble Crossing Borders.

Throughout his career, Rene Worst has worked with an incredible list of musicians such as: Miles Black, David Bowie, Aerosmith, Poison, Alice Stuart, Chet Baker, Jack Sheldon, Tommy Banks, Herb Ellis, Freddie Hubbard, Ernestine Anderson, John Faddis, Don Thompson, Jennifer Scott and many more!
