Real Band has a MIDI drum grid editor at Edit > MIDI > Drum/Patch Map > Drum Grid Editor.

A comment was made in +++ THIS +++ thread made me realize how to use the drum grid editor is not self explanatory. I can not find a tutorial or video that explains how to use this editor.

I've been using it for years off and on and it always seemed straightforward if you start using it. The only difficulty I had was setting the velocity which is done by the qwerty keyboard. Regarding the post Jim refers to i thought it wold be simple for the OP to achieve what he wanted.

I suppose it does need a bit of music theory and a knowledge of midi.

update .......its a while since i used it and i see you can type a velocity in in numeric terms......iirc it was originally done by using a key on the bottom line of the keyboard - letters represented different velocities - or maybe i jsut confused keybpard shortcuts!
